Donald “Don” Meade, AAMS®, M.Ed.
Don Meade is owner of Holy City Wealth Management, LLC, a financial services firm focused on growing and protecting wealth, financial and retirement planning, and retirement income planning. With over 25 years of experience, Don has developed a deep knowledge base and an unwavering commitment to clients, focused on assisting them create a strategy designed to help achieve their financial, wealth accumulation, and protection goals. By understanding the goals and risk tolerance of clients, Don develops a tailored solution that is implemented, reviewed regularly, and updated as needed.
Recognizing that the needs and risk tolerance of each client are unique allows Don to thoroughly analyze the client’s personal situation before recommending a solution. As for a former educator, he is passionate about educating clients about the wealth accumulation and protection options available to help them attain their financial objectives and goals. He believes that educating clients helps them develop a better understanding about the financial markets and leads to better outcomes for the clients. He also understands he cannot serve all the needs of his clients without help. He has formed strategic partnerships with some of the best investment management and insurance companies in the world to assist in meeting the needs of his clients in an ever-changing financial world. As an independent financial advisor, he can also serve the best interest of clients without the pressure of recommending proprietary investments.
Don received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise and his M.Ed. from Lincoln Memorial University. He also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS®, professional designation from the College for Financial planning.
Don, his wife, Shawn, and sons, Colby, and Charlie, reside in North Charleston, SC. In his spare time, Don enjoys traveling with his family, spending time with friends, and attending local sporting events. He is also a lifelong baseball fan, played at the junior college level, coaches a regional 17u showcase team, the Holy City Reapers. He also participates in a local college’s youth, high school, and prospect baseball camps.
